*** This event is now sold out, but if you would like to join us soon, please follow the @EastLondonLifeDrawing account on instagram where each new event will be announced the day after the previous one. We'll be drawing every Wednesday, and once you've bought a ticket you'll be added to the mailing list for the weekly update mailout. ***

Next week East London Life Drawing returns for our first session of 2025 at new venue The Bow Bells! The have a lovely room for us above the pub where we will be enjoying another relaxed and focused evening of sketching, painting and creativity.

This week's model is artist, model and muse Felipe, making his sophomore appearance at ELLD!

As always with ELLD, this is a very safe and respectful space for artists and model alike. Everybody is welcome, you don't have to be LGBTQIA+ to join us, but you should probably consider giving it a whirl some time.

Essential materials are provided! But you are welcome to bring some of your own. We start at 7pm but do arrive 15 minutes early to give yourself time to get your bits together, choose a good seat and order a drink and/or food at the bar.

There will be some discrete promotional filming for Instagram at each session, please indicate if you prefer not to appear in the video!

You can redeem your booked sessions at any time, and if your plans change we can let you join a later event, but do let me know each week if you plan to attend so that I can keep track of numbers and fill all available seats.

We're a training session not a contest, so remember: you ARE good enough to draw with us - we learn by making mistakes, not by avoiding them! And I'm here to help you with anything you want to improve - just ask. We're a mix of creative professionals and total novices, all beavering away to refine our skills in a quietly focused and productive weekly session. Drawing from life is a skill you maintain constantly; you've never completely finished learning how to represent reality in two dimensions, it just keeps getting better...
