ELLD: Blue Door III

East London Life Drawing returns for a third and final session of 2024 at Blue Door, this time on Sunday Sept 15th from 1-3pm, featuring longtime ELLD favourite, actor Jason Eddy (pictured).

As always with ELLD, this is a very safe and respectful space for artists and model alike, and whilst we enjoy the aesthetic, we are not planning an x-rated performance! Blue Door is a beautifully appointed, clean and freshly refurbished private space in Angel. We will be occupying the main downstairs space, with throne, sling, dog cage, toys, masks and crucifix for Nick to use as he pleases! And you WILL draw him! We also have adjustable lighting and a high quality sound system, plus two restrooms.

All materials are provided. Future sessions will be at other London venues. You can redeem your sessions at any time, and if your plans change we can save your space for a later event, but do let me know if you plan to attend so that I can keep track of numbers and fill all available seats. Please be advised that our last regular Wednesday ELLD session of this year will be Oct 9th, and we will be back in early January. Any unredeemed tickets will still be valid!

We're a training session not a contest, so remember you ARE good enough to draw with us - we learn by making mistakes, not by avoiding them! And I'm here to help you with anything you want to improve. We're a mix of creative professionals and total novices, all beavering away to refine our skills in a quietly focused and productive weekly session. Drawing from life is a skill you maintain constantly; you've never completely finished learning how to represent reality in two dimensions, it just keeps getting better...

When: Sunday Sept 15th 2024, starting 13:00, please arrive from 12:45 to give yourself time to choose a seat, grab your bits and get set up ready to draw!
